Most of our sisters work in diverse ministries with the poor, the immigrants, with the homeless, what we call "the voiceless and vulnerable" of our society.

Some sisters minister in parishes that reflect a rich cultural diversity: Mass is celebrated in 164 different languages in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles alone. The many immigrants call us to minister alongside the people working for human rights.

Ours sisters work in the field of education, clinics, healing ministries that come out of alternative medicine, and many areas of social services. The diversity of ministries has directly affected our community life, as the sisters all have such different daily schedules. Because of our diverse ministries, prayer is richer and the desire to strengthen relationships is of great importance.
