The Vatican II renewal called us to deepen our Franciscan charism, and "refoundation" began. Sisters were allowed to
discern their own choice of ministry which led to turning most of our schools over to lay people, leaving our convents and
living in houses of insertion with our neighbors. New ways of being sister to one another also emerged. Some live singly,
but in relationship with one another in regional groups.

Our annual Province Day gatherings strengthen our relationships with one another through rituals, prayer, sharing,
and celebrations of profession, Jubilees, sisterhood, and friendships.
