  • MARIAN MEDICAL CENTER

    Founded in 1940 to serve the growing population of Santa Maria, California, Marian Medical Center (Marian) continues the Judeo-Christian m intry of wellness, health, and healing by providing quality, compassionate care to all served. Today, Marian is a member of Catholic Healthcare West, a leading not-for-profit health care system guided by Catholic values. CHW is co-sponsored by nine communities of women religious, including our Franciscan community.

    Located on a 25-acre campus Marian Medical Center is a 157-bed hospital with two hospital campuses and a 95-bed extended care center providing sub-acute health care for short term,intermediate,or long-term needs. Other medical services include a comprehensive Cardiac Program, a fully accredited Oncology Program, Emergency Services, including a Chest Pain Emergency Program, a Family Birthing Center, and a Nursing and Community Education Program. The Marian Children's Day Care Center is provided On site. Off-site medical services include Marian Home Care, Hospice, and Infusion Services, Marian Physical and Occupational Rehabitation Center, Marian Outpatient Care Center, and two Marian Community Health Clinics, located both in Santa Maria and neighboring Guadalupe.

  • MARIAN RESIDENCE

    Marian Residence in Santa Maria, Cahfornia, is a licensed 56 room complex owned by our Sisters and managed by Marian Medical Center. It serves as a retirement home and infirmary for the sisters of St. Francis Province and is also open to lay persons without regard to race, sex, religion or national origin. Marian is located near the town's shopping center and within a mile of Marian Medical Center and its services. It provides attractive living quarters for active seniors. Rooms may be furnished or unfurnished, and meals are served three times a day. There are many Assistive Services available for those in need. In addition, an activity director plans for entertainment or educational opportunities.

    Oriented to Catholic worship, but open to all, Mass is offered each day in our lovely chapel. Marian has a library, an assembly hall, and is surrounded by extensive gardens available for the enjoyment of the residents and visitors.
