These are Indigenous women who have blessed our Congregation with their rich cultures. The
situation in Chiapas has been very tense and violent due to para-military and military presence because
of the tensions with the government.
The Church in Chiapas is committed to companion the people in their struggle for their rights
as an indigenous people. Our Provinces support the sisters in their ministries there, communicating
with and visiting them often. |
